Sankatahara chaturthi or Sankashti is very auspicious for worshipping Lord Ganesha. Devotees observe fast throughout the day. In the evening, Ganesha is worshipped with darbha by chanting stotras like Ashtotram, Ganesha Atharvaseersha, Sankatanashana Ganesha stotras and conclude the pooja by offering modaks/vundrallu and break their fast after sighting moon.

SAI BABA NAV GURUWAR VIRATHAM
Dear all, many sai devotees around the world have been benefitted by doing this pooja. Ofcourse i wont sayonly if you do this pooja your wish will be fulfilled. Not at all.As Lord Krishna says "I will accept any leaf, flower , fruit offered by a pure hearted devotee" , Saibaba also will accept any kind of devotion you show on him.
Reading of Sai Satcharitra - Life of shirdi saibaba again and again. This is a greater blessing than any pooja in this world. Sai himself has said reading his life, his leelas and living with faith and patience will take devotees very close to him.
Sai vrat Pooja has somehow become famous as below but during shirdi saibabas time it surely was followed in a different way. You may have some doubts in mind :-))
1. What kind of food i can have ? How many times. etc etc.
Aadi Velli Kizhamai
Goddess Lakshmi and Friday :)
Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual. The word ''Lakshmi'' is derived from the Sanskrit word Laksme, meaning "goal." Lakshmi, therefore, represents the goal of life, which includes worldly as well as spiritual prosperity. In Hindu mythology, Goddess Lakshmi, also called Shri, is the divine spouse of Lord Vishnu and provides Him with wealth for the maintenance and preservation of the creation.
